Due to its geographical position and great
altitudinal variation, Nepal is known for her
bio-diversity. The elevation of Nepal ranges
from 60m from sea level to the highest point on
earth i.e. Mt. Everest 8848m. and all within the
distance of 150 km. This results different
climatic condition form sub-tropical to Arctic.
Nepal occupying only 0.01% of the earth is home
to 2% of al flowering plants in the world / 8%
of the world's population of birds ( more than
848 species) / 4% of mammals on earth / 11 of
world's 15 families of butterfly ( more than 500
species) / 600 indigenous plant families / 319
species of exotic Orchids etc...
In Nepal there are 09 National Parks ( 02 of them
Sagarmatha and Chitwan National Parks are listed
under World Heritage Sites of UNESCO) / 03
Wildlife Reserves / 01 Hunting Reserve and 03
Conservation Areas. The country has managed to
preserve more endangered species of flora and
fauna then any other area in Asia.
Wildlife tour and Jungle activities include venture into deep
jungle on elephant back or four wheel drive to
view wild animals in their natural habitat, canoe
rides or rafting on the jungle rivers, nature
walks, camping trip, bird watching, dolphin sightseeing,
fishing, tiger tracking or wild elephant tracking,
